Golf: Western Hills’ Thomas signs with Georgetown

Natalie Thomas, 18, a senior at Western Hills High School, has signed to play golf at Georgetown College, an NAIA school and member of the Mid-South Conference.

Parents: Randall and Kay Thomas.

Plans to major in: accounting.

GPA: 3.84.

Sport you plan to play in college: golf.

Selected school because: It has an outstanding academic and sports program in a great community.

Letters earned: Swim, basketball, golf

Chose school over: Transylvania University.

Honors earned: Golf team captain, four-time academic all-state, National Beta Club member, National Honor Society member.

Western Hills girls coach Mike Grugin on Natalie Thomas: “Natalie was the team captain and was an inspiration to other players. She will be a great asset to the Georgetown team.”
